Gessica Geneus recently released a Creole-language self-help book that’s part affirmations and part inspiration, complete with a journal. Geneus was born and raised in Haiti, and moved to France to study filmmaking after starring in several Haitian films including Barikad, Cousines, Le President a-t-il Le Sida, Molloch Tropical and in the French television miniseries about Toussaint Louverture.
Prior to the book’s release, the actress released photos of herself on her social media channels, wearing Bohemian garb, and holding a hand-made fan.
